The business of Tiimari Plc consists of Tiimari and Gallerix businesses. Business is being conducted in domestic subsidiaries and subsidiaries in Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Estonia. Tiimari sold the Gallerix business to Gallerix's operative management on 27 January, 2012.
Tiimari Business
Tiimari business operations are based on the retail of home decoration and arts and craft items as well as stationary, school and office supplies and various seasonal (Christmas, Easter etc.) products. The product selection offered by Tiimari includes both standard products and unique items custom-made for Tiimari. Tiimari acquires its retail products from both Finnish and foreign suppliers and engages in no manufacture of its own.
The majority of Tiimari’s customers are private persons. Although the clientele is highly heterogeneous, women, particularly between the ages of 25 and 40 and children, between the ages of 5 and 15, are the most important customer group. Students form another significant customer group. The Tiimari retail shops have approximately 22 million annual customers, and the number of purchase transactions is roughly 8 million per year. In addition to private persons, Tiimari’s clientele includes businesses and other corporations as well. Tiimari has shops in Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
Gallerix Business
Gallerix is a chain specialising in wall decoration products (framed pictures, frames, posters) as well as cards. The selection includes also elegant gift items and gift wrapping supplies. Gallerix has shops in Sweden.
