History

The current Tiimari Plc was established when Leo Longlife Plc on 9th October 2006 agreed to acquire Maritii Ltd., the parent company of retail shop chain Tiimari Plc. Tiimari is the leading shop chain in the Nordics and Baltics specializing in arts & crafts, gift wrapping and cards, school and office supplies as well as seasonal goods.

Tiimari’s share is quotes on the small cap list of Nasdaq OMX Helsinki Plc. The exchange quotation ensures the company’s familiarity as well as offers wider possibilities in raising capital for growth in Finland and the neighbouring countries.

The company complies with the Finnish Companies Act and other official regulations as well as with the Corporate Governance Code for Finnish listed companies coming into force 1st January 2009 published by the Securities Market Association.
